New Year’s Day 1979 at the Rose Bowl with my room mate Cindy Lou. I was wearing my USC jersey with “Sweet Cakes” on the back.
Hey, It’s New York! Fuhgettaboudit! Vacation–Part 2
Hitting NYC running was the second part of our “big” family vacation recently. The first leg of our travels took us on The VIP Washington DC Trip. I hope you go back and read about our adventures in the Capitol and to the Congressional floor! I considered this visit to NYC as my second. My first trip only being four years ago where I blogged about it here. This was our boys’ first trip. Without anything really planned in the… [Read More]
Design Love Fest and Twig & Twine Flower Arrangement Workshop Re-caps
How has your summer been going? I’ve been taking a little blogging break, in case you hadn’t noticed, to work on organizing some up-coming home projects, adjusting to domestic life for two, and taking some classes online in addition to onsite floral workshops in LA. I’ll relish a clean house void of glittery project… [Read More]

Here’s another one – When I opened my generous box of Wilton goodies with cake and decorating supplies, I was very intrigued by their product called the Twist Quick Coupler Set so I decided to give it a try and write a review. If you’re new to using decorating tips with a pastry bag or even a parchment cone, a… [Read More]
Wilton Sweet Treat Team
I’ve got some news that I’m pretty proud of. I was asked by Wilton, to be one of a dozen bloggers chosen to be a Wilton Ambassador and a member of their Wilton Sweet Treat Team! Yay! This is a huge thrill and honor for me since I’ve been using their products for over thirty years! Yes, I know this dates me but I feel I’m in very good company. Before I was married, I learned cake decorating using their… [Read More]
