Dads-to-be need to feel special too.
All tucked in as snug as a bug in a rug.
Uh-oh…
Time for binky and bottle.
“Burp!” Ahhh.
Just for fun for the wine connoisseur dad-to-be.
This gift for the dad-to-be will accompany baby shower cookie favors tied with the baby blue polka dot ribbon and a mini cupcake tree, which I’ll post next week.
The tag and pennant were very easy to make. I printed out what I wanted to say and cut it to size and shape and added a backing of blue polka dot card stock to the tag. I strung the pennant on fuzzy twine. Hot glued the pennant to the wicker brim of the basket. Hot glued the polka dot ribbon to the tag. I found the plastic binky embellishment at a scrapbook store which was the second link in the creative process after finding the basket. To stuff the basket, I crumbled firm craft paper for a base then filled in with blue shredded crinkle paper on top. Ta-da!
You could also add a binky to the carriage or an old school wine bottle opener but I think the presentation pacifies what I wanted to do for the daddy just the way it is.
Signing off a bit early to getting busy baking! Have a sweet weekend, friends.
