Now you can be with the line of Disney princess bridal gowns.
Which princess would you be?
Preferences based primarily on dress design. The prince is a secondary consideration.
Besides who remembers any princely potentials besides Aladdin?
Ariel.
They used to call this style ‘fish tail.’
Now it’s ‘mermaid.’ Still something fishy about it to me.
Personally, I think it makes every girl look like she’s packing a little more bait in the dorsal fin. But then again, what do I know, my dress had *gasp* sleeves!
Does this dress make you want to ‘fish or cut bait’ or ‘reel it in?’
You know I’m going to say it.
I can’t… help…myself….
Is this a beauty or a beast?
My sentimental favorite for the fact alone I had a Cinderella watch with the Cinderella figurine and I think I still have both! Somewhere.
It still works but can be slow on the uptick and the vintage figurine has seen better days.
We’re still talkin’ about the watch and figurine aren’t we?
Just checkin’.
Is the prince sold as an accessory?
If so, I’m in.
There’s just something about a prince in a blue velvet jacket.
I used to think I’d make a perfect Snow White at Disneyland,
the dark hair, fair skin, ruby red lips and all.
However, this was a long, long time ago when I used to hang with the Lost Boys of my youth.
I looked in my mirror, mirror on the wall this morning.
I still got game on the ruby red lips.
What I need now is pixie dust. Big time.
Where the hell is Tinkerbell when I need her?
Fairies can be so flighty.
Tiana.
I’m not familiar with her.
She must be very recent.
I do love the fondant draped skirt though.
It reminds me of ‘Disney Frosting.’
Which I heard from a documentary on Disney animation is what the Imagineers called the yummy, drippy magic of sparkles and light where all your wishes come true.
You know the kind you ask your Fairy Godmother for when you’re breaking into a sweat hopping around your closet getting into the second layer of Spanx after your hair is already done and now is sticking to your forehead and curling your bangs and your mascara and eyeliner has crept up into every fold in the upper third of your face and your high school reunion is tonight?
Jasmine.
Elegance and sophistication but in the end she picked the guy who could make her laugh.
“The Great White Granny Panties Give-Away” this Friday?
If you answered, “They’re both white!”
You’re right!
And hopefully, like Jasmine, you’ll share my sense of humor. π
I’m probably more classic….Cinderella.
Tiana debuted about two years ago. Some frog movie set in New Orleans. The name escapes me, but she is the first African American Disney Princess.
Princess and the Frog..may be the name.
A riot……nothing left to the imagination anymore .I am between Cinderella and Snow White. I guess the only thing keeping a little girl from thinking she can be a princess is her imagination!
My favorite has always been Ariel…my wedding dress was a mermaid one…what was I thinking! Hard to dance in!
This was hilarious! I’m hands down a Cinderella π
What a fun post! I love the Cinderella dress π
Oh I am a Belle but I can’t stand that dress. I would love to try on the Cinderella one though.
LOL, that was a fun read! My personal pick would be the Cinderella!
xo Cathy…if you locate the fairy godmother, please send her my way
These are hilarious! I think I’m more of a Snow White.
I think I am Cinderella. I could do without the bottom of the dress but the top is so beautiful!
xo, kmw
Great post! Not sure which princess dress but had to laugh about the sleeves – you can totally date my wedding photo by the sleeves and color of the attendants clothes! Who knew we would get such a laugh looking back?
snow white π beautiful!
Tiana was from the Princess and the Frog but with the Art Deco styling of the movie and rich New Orleans heritage, they could have done so much more with the dress that bears her name.
I’ve always been an Aurora fan but there’s just something so elegant about the bodice of the Cinderella gown I’d have to go with it.
I’m definitely a Belle, what with all the books, but I wore a mermaid dress COVERED in pearls and sequins…
Some days I think I could pass for Ursula’s twin! Most days though, I am plain ole Bronco Mom who would love to have worn Belle’s dress.
Love your Disney post! I’d have to say my favorite is the strapless Cinderella dress.
Hmm…I think I like Jasmine & Sleeping Beauty the best.
Without a doubt Cinderella.
Cinderella! Yes, “that’s the ticket” xoxo
I’m happy to tell you that those gowns keeps me swaying between Ariel and Jasmine. Both possess simplicity and elegance I’m looking for. All of them are wonderful anyways.
Oh I died with this, you are too funny! You have to know how much I love the line about sleeves (gasp!), I am such a whiner on that topic! It reminds me of when I was looking for my dress, we named each one, “The Fairy Tale Princess Dress,” “The Screen Siren dress,” etc.
And by the way, if you find the pixie dust, may I have just a whisper of some?
Smiles at you Miss PM&P, I have loved your comments on the blog, they have made my heart smile. π

Oh those dress are so beautiful! I want to be a princess. I would wear the Cinderella or the Tiana, who I have not heard of either but it is a beautiful dress. love the collection. Do you mind if I put the pics on my blog sometime too?
Cinderella all the way.
Absolutely love the Sleeping Beauty, don’t know if its the beauty of the dress or the idea of sleep!
