Harvard Bridge
Can you help? I am looking for an exceptional dinning experience in Boston for my son’s graduation in June. I would appreciate any of your recommendations.
Has anyone tried the top of the Prudential building?
Thanks. 🙂

Top of the Hub, as it is called, is excellent! But check out Boston Magazine’s top picks… http://www.bostonmagazine.com/restaurants/display/best_restaurants_2010/?gallery_idx=600&row_position=0&photo_idx=6572&thumbnail_num=4
enjoy! 🙂
Hi Pink Martini!
Top of the Hub (top of the Pru) has an amazing view, but the food can be hit or miss. Davio’s in the Back Bay is always wonderful, and is lovely for a special occasion!
I live in Boston, so please let me know if I can help with any other dining questions, there are so many wonderful options!!
Ditto to the other blogger.. top of the hub. It’s soooo nice there. The food is awesome and the view is absolutely amazing I def rec!!!
A few great ones…
Grill 23, Davios, Sorellina & Stephanies on Newbury. Oh & the Lounge at the Back Bay Hotel is great as well as the restaurant in thr Four Seasons.
Congratulations on your son’s graduation! You must be one proud mama. I haven’t been in Boston in over 25 years though my oldest son was born at Chelsea Naval Hospital 39 years ago!
I wish I knew I have never been…I hope you get lots of suggestions. So exciting for you son….life really begins.
uh hmm… so how’s that no computer at bedtime going for ya?
but please still leave comments, I need to know you’re out there 😉
I lived in Boston for almost two years and would love to go to the Boston Harbor Restaurant…, the outside bar only though. It’s right by the harbor, the docks and the board walk. You can check out pictures of the restaurant and bare here:

Hope this helps!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I wish I had something fabulous to contribute, but FUN topic and I can’t wait to come back and read your reader’s suggestions!!
hi there — since i’m getting to know you, and since i love your blog — i gave you an award that says it (on my blog) — check it out if you’re over at the pink prep! 🙂
I have never been to Boston, but is on my list to go. Congratulations to your son, I know your one proud Mama! When do you go? Good luck with your pick. The Top of the Hub sounds pretty nice.
XOXO
P.S. Love your table scapes by the way. I could really do something in Maryland with those lights!
Love Boston – my daughter graduated from BC last May – we did an Italian restaurant that I cannot remember the name of naturally, but we had a small group. I will ask my husband & daughter if you are interested…
Congratulations!
Let me know where you end up going – I have a wedding to photograph in Boston at the end of June and will be looking for a great restaurant!
Top of the Hub is definitely hit or miss and I’ve unfortunately been there for more misses than hits. It is such a nice atmosphere though that it makes up for it! Grill 23 is great and No 9 Park is always fantastic. I’ve been in love with this Cambridge restaurant lately called Upstairs on the Square. It’s beautiful inside, the food is amazing, and the service is impeccable. May be a bit too girly for your son’s grad dinner though!
Thank you so much to all of you who have commented and given me some suggestions. The jury is still open so keep ’em coming! 🙂 xoxo
