Today was a day for a few firsts.
In Laguna, it was the first time I had been there for lunch as I prefer going there for dinner to watch the sunset.
It was the first time I had been to K’ya on top of the Casa de Camino hotel.
It was the first time I have had a Salade Nicoise.
It was the first time I had seen or tasted caper berries that were on stems and as big as small figs.
It was the first time I had ever gone south on PCH when I meant to go north (and kept Lady Kate waiting at Williams-Sonoma until I had realized my error miles down the road.) Ugh.
It was the first time I really wished I had my cell phone charged and with me, so with that being said in relation to a recent post, after lunch I had a nice yummy piece of humble….
Unfortuantely, not my first serving and probably won’t be my last.
